Mr. Petriella has sold and financed over $1 Billion in commercial real estate transactions in New York, California and other major markets. Most recently, he led growth efforts and managed day-to-day operations for Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services and Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation, a national, publicly traded commercial real estate brokerage company.
He also founded The Real Estate Finance group, Inc., a small capital advisory firm with offices in Los Angeles, Kansas and New York City, and worked as an advisor to Ackman-Ziff, an established New York City Capital Advisory boutique. Prior to commercial real estate sales and financing, Mr. Petriella worked for well-known hotel companies Four Seasons, Westin and Hilton Hotels.
Mr. Petriella graduated from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University following studies in business and engineering at Manhattan College in Riverdale, N.Y. He resides in New York City with his wife and son.
Alissa J. Gaines is a Managing Director with Silverthread Capital Corporation, bringing over 25 years of experience in real estate finance, capital markets and investment. She offers a unique and personal hands-on approach to her work, combined with many years of institutional commercial real estate experience.
Ms. Gaines works with both experienced property owners and first-time buyers, guiding them through each step of the property acquisition process to the closing table. Over the years, she has worked with a core group of investment sales brokers, local and national lenders, attorneys and financial consultants.
Prior to joining Silverthread Capital Corporation, Ms. Gaines was President of Carlyle Financial, LLC, a privately held mortgage banking firm based in Westport, CT, with a focus on meeting the capital needs of small commercial property and business owners. In this role, she successfully originated and placed debt for hundreds of transactions both large and small.
Ms. Gaines received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. She is a Past President of the Association of Real Estate Women, (now CREW New York) a 350-member organization in NYC where she now serves on its President’s Council. She is also a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council and the Cornell Society of Hotelmen.
A second generation banker, Kevin’s professional career began at Citicorp/Citibank NA in New York City. There he worked as a Portfolio Manager of Asset Management Accounts for an affluent international clientele, specializing in Fixed Income investments, Asset-based Lending, and overall Wealth Management for nearly 7 years.
Kevin later joining UBS-PaineWebber in Miami, and as a Vice President for Investments, where his Clients included Commercial Real Estate Investors. He was frequently among the top 5 producers in this flagship UBS-Miami branch, and was consequently recruited by Merrill Lynch prior to its acquisition by Bank of America.
At Silverthread Capital Corporation in New York, Kevin’s focus is on expanding his portfolio of Commercial Real Estate investors through Debt & Equity Financing.
Kevin is a graduate of Columbia University (BA. Econ).
Justin Henry joined the Silverthread Capital team in 2017. Upon joining the firm, he began as a lead generator and quickly worked his way up to serving in the capacity as a commercial mortgage broker.
Prior to Silverthread Capital, Mr. Henry pursued his entrepreneurial endeavors, where he created two successful businesses. Mr. Henry’s passion for real estate led him to Citi Development, LLC, a real estate development and financial advisory firm, where he was worked alongside the sales and acquisitions team to pursue the procurement of distressed assets across the five boroughs of New York.
Mr. Henry is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of New York.
Mr. Henry is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investments at New York University. He also earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a MBA in Risk Management and Insurance from St. John’s University.
Linna Lin is focused on helping clients finding solutions for their financial needs when purchasing, refinancing or developing commercial real estate. Prior to joining Silverthread Capital, Ms. Lin has actively participated in Real Estate Sales, Investment, Management in multiple geographical locations both in and outside the U.S.
Originally from China, Ms. Lin is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Teochew. She holds a Bachelor degree in International Business from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, and a PhD in Applied Economics from Auburn University. Ms. Lin has a solid finance, economics and statistics background and has taught and advised undergraduate students as a business school professor for six years.
Ms. Lin has lived in the U.S. for over a decade, with an unparalleled passion for New York.
Frankie Paparella is a young professional with experience in Commercial Lending and Commercial Insurance. After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder, he began working at OnDeck Capital as a Credit Analyst. Mr. Paparella was soon promoted to an underwriter position in the New York office at OnDeck Capital eventually moving into the Insurance industry.
Currently residing is his home-town of Los Angeles, Mr. Paparella is focused on serving the entrepreneurial real estate owners there.
Patrick started in banking with JPMorgan Chase as a full service business banker. He earned his Series 6 and 63 licenses becoming a Registered Representative of JPMorgan Securities and a Registered Loan Originator with NMLS. Following his experience at Chase, he joined Quicken in Detroit closing over $22M loan volume in 2017. He recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in commercial real estate finance.
Patrick is a graduate of Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business, with a focus in Hospitality. Patrick is proud of his customer service based business mind-set and enjoys sharing his experience and financial knowledge to assist clients when financing real estate.
Mr. Bishop started in real estate finance worked within a loan origination team at Greystone developing a client base focused on Multi-family and Healthcare implementing Greystone’s vast FHA platforms and programs. Developing a true understanding of each clients individual needs and long-term goals has led to an expansion into other asset classes including hospitality and office as well as gaining and expert working knowledge of the PACE program.
Prior to structured finance, Mr. Bishop owned and operated multiple businesses in the Restaurant and Entertainment industry throughout the East Coast. Implementing creative marketing and sales strategies as well various business concepts, Mr. Bishop has developing a tremendous network of business professionals spanning a broad cross-section of industries.
After graduation from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College with a B.S. in Marketing, Mr. Bishop has enjoyed living in the suburbs of NYC with his wife and 3 children.
Mark Robbins brings to Silverthread Capital an extensive background in finance, accounting, tax, and consulting. Prior to joining Silverthread, Mr. Robbins owned and operated his own CPA firm, servicing a variety of real estate investor and developer clients. Before moving to Florida and starting his CPA firm, Mr. Robbins was the Finance Manager for School Employees Retirement System of Ohio, a large public pension plan system containing a substantial real estate investment portfolio.
Mark is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where he earned a dual degree in accounting and finance. He also attended Capital University, where he graduated with a MBA degree. Mr. Robbins is married and has a teenage son. During his non-working hours Mr. Robbins enjoys playing guitar, watching and playing sports, swimming and officiating at his son’s meets.
A second generation New York City landlord, Mr. Kwakyeh’s professional real estate career began at the Skyfield Realty Group. There, he currently works as a Property Manager in the West Farms section of the Bronx.
Mr. Kwakyeh is focused on helping clients find solutions for their financing needs when purchasing, refinancing, or developing commercial real estate. With a passion for Real Estate, Mr. Kwakyeh focuses on customer service to deliver the best possible experience for his clients.
Mr. Kwakyeh is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport’s Ernest C.Trefz School of Business. He holds a Professional Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investments from Fordham University. In addition, he is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
