Mr. Petriella has sold and financed over $1 Billion in commercial real estate transactions in New York, California and other major markets. Most recently, he led growth efforts and managed day-to-day operations for Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services and Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation, a national, publicly traded commercial real estate brokerage company.
He also founded The Real Estate Finance group, Inc., a small capital advisory firm with offices in Los Angeles, Kansas and New York City, and worked as an advisor to Ackman-Ziff, an established New York City Capital Advisory boutique. Prior to commercial real estate sales and financing, Mr. Petriella worked for well-known hotel companies Four Seasons, Westin and Hilton Hotels.
Mr. Petriella graduated from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University following studies in business and engineering at Manhattan College in Riverdale, N.Y. He resides in New York City with his wife and son.
Alissa J. Gaines is a Managing Director with Silverthread Capital Corporation, bringing over 25 years of experience in real estate finance, capital markets and investment. She offers a unique and personal hands-on approach to her work, combined with many years of institutional commercial real estate experience.
Ms. Gaines works with both experienced property owners and first-time buyers, guiding them through each step of the property acquisition process to the closing table. Over the years, she has worked with a core group of investment sales brokers, local and national lenders, attorneys and financial consultants.
Prior to joining Silverthread Capital Corporation, Ms. Gaines was President of Carlyle Financial, LLC, a privately held mortgage banking firm based in Westport, CT, with a focus on meeting the capital needs of small commercial property and business owners. In this role, she successfully originated and placed debt for hundreds of transactions both large and small.
Ms. Gaines received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. She is a Past President of the Association of Real Estate Women, (now CREW New York) a 350-member organization in NYC where she now serves on its President’s Council. She is also a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council and the Cornell Society of Hotelmen.
For the past five years, David Guiness has worked as a loan officer and underwriter at Zions Bank in Salt Lake City, UT. While at Zions, he underwrote commercial real estate loans covering all product types and was a Loan Officer responsible for originating revolving lines of credit to homebuilders along the Wasatch Front. Prior to working at Zions Bank Mr. Guiness worked at ActiveNetwork, a technology company.
Mr. Guiness studied Real Estate Finance and Development at Texas A&M University. Prior to graduate school, he spent six years working for the California Department of Transportation.
Kenny Cedeno is a seasoned Client Advisor, understanding the key any relationship is understanding the motivation factor of each client. Prior to joining Silverthread Capital Kenny worked as a Research Analysis in the Commercial Real Estate Industry.
Kenny holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Real Estate. On his free time Kenny enjoys sharing his time with family and friends, traveling, and attending sporting events.
Kevin Brown is a second-generation banker, Kevin’s professional career began at Citigroup in New York City. There he worked as a Portfolio Manager of Asset Management Accounts for an affluent international clientele and specialized in Fixed Income Investments, Asset-based Lending, and overall Wealth Management for nearly 7 years.
Kevin later joined UBS-PaineWebber in Miami, and as a Vice President for Equity and Fixed-Income Investments, his Clients included Commercial Real Estate Investors and Developers. Kevin was frequently among the top 5 producers in this flagship UBS-Miami branch and was consequently recruited by Merrill Lynch prior to its acquisition by Bank of America.
At Silverthread Capital Corporation in New York since 2014, Kevin is focused on expanding his portfolio of Commercial Real Estate investors through Debt & Equity Financing.
Kevin is a graduate of Columbia University (BA. Econ).
Jeremy Pieroth is an experienced sales and customer service expert. He has experience working with, creating, designing, and implementing complex – multi-million dollar – insurance products that fit customers’ needs. Prior to working in the insurance industry, Jeremy has served in managerial roles at various casino, full-service, and five diamond hotels and resorts. Working in hotels and resorts has taught Jeremy topersonalize care and create exceptional customer experiences.
Jeremy was born and raised in Central New Jersey. He earned a bachelors degree in Hotel Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. Jeremy has resided in San Diego, CA since 2007.
Justin Henry joined the Silverthread Capital team in 2017. Upon joining the firm, he began as a lead generator and worked his way up to serving in the capacity as a commercial mortgage broker.Prior to Silverthread Capital, Mr. Henry pursued his entrepreneurial endeavors, where he established two NY based businesses. Mr. Henry’s passion for real estate led him to work for NY based real estate development and financial advisory firm, where he was worked alongside the sales and acquisitions team to pursue the procurement of distressed assets across the five boroughs of New York.
Mr. Henry is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of New York. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investments at New York University, earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and a MBA in Risk Management and Insurance from St. John’s University.
LaKisha Gilmore-Atherton brings over 10 years of financial analysis experience to Silverthread Capital with 6 of those years in real estate financing. She has prepared detailed loan analysis for Income Property Loan Officers and reviewed multifamily and commercial property loans for risk grade tolerance for Luther Burbank Saving’s Income Property Lending division in Manhattan Beach, CA. She has also prepared mortgage application packages for loan approvals (in addition to investment research) at Paragon Financial Group in Holbrook, NY.
LaKisha has a strong analytical background and was known for updating/revising corporate spreadsheets for better productivity throughout her career.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Baruch College in NY and is a Certified Microsoft Office Specialist in Excel.
